This talk summarizes the dynamic geologic history of the Pacific Northwest, Vashon-Maury Island, and its special beach rocks. We will start with a short introduction at the Vashon Senior Center followed by a field trip to the Native Rock Garden and the geology portion of the Heritage Museum’s Natural Wonders.
