Event/Activity Details Financial Beginnings Washington is proud to partner with the WA Bankers Association to offer “Identifying and Avoiding Scams.” This talk explains how scammers target seniors because of the size of their assets, their tendency to be more trusting, the likelihood of their being stressed by family, medical, and financial problems, their concern about having enough money, and their embarrassment about admitting they’ve been duped.
