Join the Board of Directors

The Nominating Committee is seeking candidates to join the Board of Directors. If you would like to serve on the Board, please read the attached job description and fill out an application. The application must be at the Senior Center no later than 3PM Friday, October 11, 2019. You can drop it off at the front desk or mail it to: PO Box 848, Vashon, WA 98070. Elections are held in early November and new Board members will begin serving in January 2020 for a three-year term. The Board meets monthly.

As I am sure you know, the Senior Center is a wonderful place with a great staff and programs that support older adults on the Island. The Board of Directors is a passionate group of diverse thinkers who work well together to further the goals of the Center. New Reading and Writing Program

One of our members, Thomas is available to read aloud to you. Select favorite stories or poems. He is also available to help you with simple writing tasks. Please contact the Senior Center if you’re interested.

New Book Group Forming

Please let us know if you have any interest in leading another group. The original group is at capacity.
