Join us at Vashon Senior Center! We serve hot meals & delicious salads Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon. We host over 20 programs every week that help keep bodies, minds and spirits fit, from Zumba to Tai Chi, Bridge to Mah Jongg, Meditation, Music Mends Minds and more.
Special Activities coming up include Strawberry Festival fun. Look for us in the Parade and make sure to visit our booth. This year is extra fun: we’ll be sharing about our Giving Tree, and it wouldn’t be Festival without some Wise BAD Advice from Seniors (where you can get good or bad advice - your choice).
Other July highlights include Frog Holler (with a clogging demonstration!) on July 7 at 1pm, and two fantastic trips: journey to the beautiful Sequim Lavender Fields on July 10 and take a ballgame with the Tacoma Rainiers on July 22.
Our Senior Center Village brings the Senior Center into the community with rides, chore help and friendly connections. Thanks to Vashon Health Care District, Social Work support is available here at the Center or in your home.
All ages are welcome at Vashon Senior Center, and our Members enjoy special discounts, trips and events. Adults aged 55 and older can access many supportive services.
